Pay attention to the key points that determine comfort in real conditions:
- the straps of the backpack or plate carrier should not chafe the shoulders or neck;
- the weight of the backpack should be distributed evenly without excessive pressure on one area;
- the plate carrier should not limit movements;
- the gear should combine with the uniform of all seasons and not create discomfort.
Adherence to these simple rules will help to avoid chafing, overload, and overheating in field conditions.
The Functionality of Military Gear
Gear must help, and not hinder. Functionality is the ability to quickly gain access to gear or drop an element in a critical situation.
