BlueBird Tech presented the tactical aircraft-type drone “Bebradron” with a completely new design, improved technical characteristics, and an enlarged warhead.
All the improvements the engineers of BlueBird Tech carried out in close cooperation with the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The innovations take into account current combat conditions. This way the Ukrainian military receive the most effective instrument for tasks on the front.
How Did the “Bebradron” From BlueBird Tech Improve?
- New design and recognizability
The drone received a camouflage coloring and the inscription “BEBRADRON” on the wing, which makes it possible for Ukrainian pilots to easily distinguish “friendly” UAVs from foreign ones in the air. On top the print is in dark green shades, on the bottom — in white-and-blue.
- Improved construction and aerodynamics
The structural elements and attachment nodes are integrated inside the casing. This increases the aerodynamic characteristics and reduces the risk of damage during flight.
- Increased wingspan and wing resource
The optimized construction of the wings made them more resistant to dynamic loads. This not only extends the time of staying in the air to 40 minutes but also increases the overall resource of the airframe — thanks to the better distribution of stress in the construction.
- More precise control
The updated control system ensures a more precise response of the drone to the pilot’s commands, increasing the effectiveness of the execution of tasks.
- Increased combat power
The warhead is increased from 6 to 9 kg, and the engineers are already working on the further building-up of the strike capabilities of the “Bebradron”.
- Resilience to EW
The drone integrates the satellite channels Starlink and Synlink, as well as various variants of FHSS (frequency hopping), which ensures stable management even in the zone of active electronic warfare impact. The drone becomes less noticeable for enemy EW assets, and therefore more effective in combat tasks.
