On the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, another attempt by occupants to defend themselves against Ukrainian drones using improvised means has been recorded — this time, an ordinary shovel was put to use.
Operators of the “Apex” UAS unit of the “Forpost” brigade captured the moment when a Russian soldier decided to test whether a shovel strike could stop an FPV drone. The experiment proved short-lived and unsuccessful: the shovel did not survive the test, and the drone continued to carry out its combat mission.
The “Apex” unit ironically thanked the adversary for the “vivid demonstration of ingenuity,” reminding them that as long as Ukrainian pilots are operating in the skies, improvised means will not help the occupants.
The episode took place in the area of responsibility of the 16th Army Corps on the Kharkiv direction.
