Terms and Conditions

  1. General Provisions
    These Terms and Conditions of Use of the Site (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) govern the procedure for using the DefPulse information portal at https://defpulse.news/ (hereinafter referred to as the “Portal”), owned by an individual entrepreneur acting in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as the “Operator” or “Company”).
    By using the Portal, the user confirms that he has read, understood and agrees to comply with these Terms.
    If the user does not agree with the provisions of these Terms, he must stop using the Portal.
  2. Information about the Portal
    The owner and administrator of the Portal is the Operator, acting in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.
    DefPulse is an information and news resource. All materials of the Portal are exclusively informational in nature.
  3. Subject of regulation
    The Portal provides users with information, news and analytical materials of an industry nature, as well as other information of an informational nature.
    The information posted on the Portal is for informational purposes only and is not professional (including legal, financial, technical or other special) advice, nor is it a public offer, unless otherwise expressly stated on the relevant page of the Portal.
  4. Intellectual property rights
    All objects posted on the Portal, including texts, graphic materials, logos, images, program code, design, video, audio materials and other content elements, are objects of intellectual property rights of the Company or are used on legal grounds.
    Any copying, distribution, modification, public use or other use of the Portal materials without the prior written consent of the Company is prohibited, except for cases expressly provided for by the legislation of Ukraine. Quoting the Portal materials is allowed provided there is a direct active hyperlink to the relevant material, unless otherwise specified separately.
  5. Use of the Portal
    The User undertakes to use the Portal exclusively in a lawful manner and not to take actions that may:
    violate the rights and legitimate interests of the Company or third parties;
    impede the normal functioning of the Portal;
    lead to unauthorized access to information systems;
    contain malicious software, viruses or other technical means of interference.
    The User does not have the right to use the Portal to distribute information that contradicts the legislation of Ukraine.
  6. User content (comments and appeals)
    If the Portal has a commenting function or other forms of sending information by the user, the user is solely responsible for the content of such materials.
    The user undertakes not to post materials that violate the laws of Ukraine, the rights of third parties, contain calls for violence, enmity, discrimination, false information, advertising or spam.
    The Company has the right to remove, edit or not publish User Content that violates these Terms or legal requirements without prior notice.
    Users are strictly prohibited from posting in comments, feedback forms or sending through any services of the Portal information containing any sensitive information, the distribution of which is restricted or prohibited in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine. The user bears sole civil, administrative and criminal liability for violation of Section 6 of these Terms. The Company has the right to immediately, without warning and explanation of reasons, delete any User Content that, in the Company’s opinion, poses a threat to information security, and is also obliged to fully assist the law enforcement authorities of Ukraine in identifying the persons who committed such violations.
  7. Limitation of liability
    The Company takes all possible measures to ensure the relevance and reliability of the information posted on the Portal, but does not guarantee its absolute accuracy, completeness or continuous availability.
    The company is not responsible for:
    any errors or inaccuracies in the information;
    decisions made by the user based on the materials of the Portal;
    temporary unavailability of the Portal;
    technical failures or interruptions in the work of the Portal;
    any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Portal;
    the content of third-party web resources, links to which may be placed on the Portal.
    All materials of a sectoral, technical and analytical nature posted on the Portal are published exclusively for informational and informative purposes. The company is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages, material damage, physical injuries or other negative consequences arising from attempts at practical use, testing, assembly or modeling of devices and solutions based on the information posted on the Portal.
  8. Links to third-party resources
    The portal may contain links to third-party web resources, in particular to news sources. The Company does not control the content of such resources and is not responsible for their operations, content or privacy policies.
    The user’s transition to third-party resources is carried out at the user’s own risk.
  9. Privacy and personal data
    The procedure for collecting, processing and protecting personal data is determined by the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy posted on the Portal.
  10. Making changes to the Terms
    The Company has the right to make changes to these Terms. The updated version of the Terms comes into force from the moment of its publication on the Portal. Further use of the Portal after making changes means the user’s agreement with the new version of the Terms.
  11. Applicable law and dispute resolution
    These Terms are subject to the legislation of Ukraine.
    All disputes arising in connection with the use of the Portal shall be resolved through negotiations, and in the event of failure to reach an agreement – in court in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.
