Ukrainian technology company BlueBird Tech has announced the launch of its own production of antennas for FPV drones, unmanned systems, and communications equipment. The company has introduced two models — CLOVER 3.5–4.5 GHz and PCB VeeDip 1.2 GHz. Both are developed and manufactured in Ukraine.

According to the company, the new antennas are designed to work with radio signals, including for transmitting and receiving video, telemetry, and UAV control commands.

CLOVER 3.5–4.5 GHz is an omnidirectional clover-type antenna with circular polarization. Its primary operating range is 3.5–4.5 GHz, while signal reception is possible across the wider range of 3.0–4.9 GHz.

According to the manufacturer, the antenna can be used on FPV drones for transmitting and receiving video, as well as in UAV detection systems. The extended reception range, as BlueBird Tech notes, allows it to be used for detecting not only FPV drones but also fixed-wing unmanned aircraft, including the Molniya. The antenna weighs approximately 30 grams.

The second model is PCB VeeDip 1.2 GHz. This is a planar V-shaped dipole antenna designed for the 1150–1300 MHz range. It can be mounted directly on UAVs, mobile repeaters, and ground stations. The antenna weighs only 11 grams, which is important for lightweight unmanned aircraft. BlueBird Tech positions the PCB VeeDip as a solution for transmitting and receiving radio signals, including video, telemetry, and control signals.

BlueBird Tech notes that the launch of production is part of developing its own component base for UAVs and radio systems. The company aims to supply Ukrainian military personnel and drone manufacturers with ready-made components produced in Ukraine.
